Prospect Point

Prospect Point provides an unparalleled view of the Lions Gate Bridge and Burrard Inlet from the highest point in Stanley Park. Working yet again with Capilano Group, Enns | Gauthier provided conceptual design and illustrative materials to the Client for this iconic Vancouver landmark in conjunction with renovations to the adjacent restaurant, cafe and gift shops.

Together with the Vancouver Parks Board, Grout McTavish Architects and Panther Group, E|G’s focus will be to enhance the visitor experience for the exterior spaces.  An arrival plaza will create a welcoming introduction into the thematic and interpretive aspect of the Prospect Point, drawing upon the history of the Lions Gate Bridge as well as marine navigation.  Paving materials, furnishings and plantings will be more unified in form and texture.  Improvements to wayfinding, orientation and view corridors will allow for easier access to the site’s new amenities, as well as reinforcing the breathtaking views of the North Shore Mountains and Burrard Inlet from the Point.
