Revelstoke Riparian Restoration

Working closely with Hemmera Envirochem, contractors and local plant specialists, Enns | Gauthier was tasked with the analysis and design of vegetation and erosion control techniques along the banks of the Columbia River adjacent to the Revelstoke Golf Course

Plant species selection and planting combinations were developed with local plant specialists and installers, chosen for site hardiness and native habitat.  Erosion control measures included live staking with willow stakes and boulder outcrops.  Seed mixes were researched and selected based on similar applications locally, and were hydroseeded in areas susceptible to surface erosion.  Additionally, a view shed analysis was created to help determine new tree placement to ensure view corridors were maintained from the golf course to the beautiful Columbia River.
