Client: The Mitchell Family | Location: Vancouver, BC | Budget: $50,000 (est.) | Completed: 2015

The Mitchell Residence

Faced with an overgrown and underused backyard in Vancouver, Enns | Gauthier was asked to produce new ideas and creative uses for this small patio in an urban setting, focusing on social gathering, a tranquil garden, and a dog run. Special care was given to new textures and forms, helping to define multiple “small spaces” that overlapped each other. Drawings were supported with images and 3D sketches to convey the concept to the Client and help them visualize the possibilities of the space.
